Awesome gift!
This is my 2nd year sending ManCrates, with over 20 sent to customers this time around!
Absolutely love them.
I sent the Oktoberfest crate to a friend of mine originally from Germany and now living in San Diego. He loved the food (said it was great!) and the personalized stein.
Absolute no brainer!

Simply Amazing
My father in law got this crate for Christmas and he opened today. It truly was great watching him and his two sons who also got crates for Christmas struggle to get them open. Truly truly unique gifts. Thank you for getting this one to me before Christmas. Your customer service was fantastic as well.

My son loved it!
There were some challenges getting this delivered, but the customer service rocked in resolving my issue! My son loved his stein! The only sad thing was the sauerkraut container broke during shipping, so everything in the crate smelled like it! But still my son appreciated it and thought the packing was cool. I'd order from this company again in a heartbeat.

Great gift
Brother in law loved his crate but a little sad the crowbar was not with my order. Made the situation a little anticlimactic. Would try again for someone else, maybe my order was rushed for the holiday.

Great Gift!
I got this for my boyfriend for his birthday. Since his birthday is in October, I figured this was perfect. He was so surprised and a little confused when he saw that he needed to open his present with a crowbar. It took him a couple minutes to figure it out and we both had some laughs over it. He absolutely loved the personalized beer stein and the fact that it says "It's Always Oktober Somewhere". Overall he seemed to enjoy the crate and experience. My only compliant is that the coasters didn't come like pictured. They aren't the dark burn shown for the text. The text came out really light which is somewhat unfortunate.

Neat Idea!
I really think these crates are a great idea. I hope they come out with some other choices. We did have an issue with the personlized stein but it was take care of promptly by replacement. Customer service is outstanding. I have already referred by word of mouth and will continue to do so. A supercross crate would be awesmoe (hint, hint!) or maybe even a make up your own crate, with options. . .Thanks for everything!!

Great Concept
He loved everything in this crate. My only disappointment is that the crate is closed with glue and had opened during shipping. If you pride yourselves on "Man Crates" a least close the crate with nails so Men can get the chance to use the crow bar to open it. The concept is awesome but would have been more fun to actually open it. It was a Father's Day gift that was already opened when it arrived.
MAN CRATES EDIT:
Sorry to hear your crate popped open on its way to you!! That is certainly not how we want our crates to be received! Please give us a call at 866-902-7260 and we'll make it right, promise!

great selection of items
Gave this to my dad for father's day and he absolutely loved the items. My only concern was the crate itself, it was not nailed shut so when he lifted the crate out of the box it came in all the stuff fell out. Unfortunately it kinda ruined the whole "crate" experience by having to pry it open with a crowbar.

Man Crates EDIT:Hey there Shelley, so sorry to hear your lid wasn't secure!! Give us a holler at 866-902-7260 and we'll do our best to make this right!!!

It's awesome!
I wanted a unique gift for my husband for his birthday/father's day. This definitely hit the mark! He loved it. Everything inside the crate was just as described and we're good quality products. The only downside, is that the crate wasn't glued down securely and was already open when I gave it to him. It kinda took the fun out of it. Other than that, it was awesome!

great gift but...
I loved the crate for my guy. My only complaint is that he didn't get to pry off the lid of the crate. The lid was barely on. Id like the fact you get to use the little crowbar to open it and he didn't get to do that. That's what I thought made it even more fun. But otherwise he loved all the stuff especially the beer mug.

Oktoberfest
I must say it was a very unique gift as well. However, some of the items including the mustard and pretzels were expired as of June 2014. Otherwise, I was very impressed with the quality of gifts and the crow bar to open the box.

creative gift!
My husband loved his crate! Wanted to know where I found something like this??? He told everyone we talked to about the big beer mug he got and how he had to work to get his gift. LOL. My only complaint is I thought it would be a bit larger. Meaning the crate itself. I thought there would be a bigger bag of pretzels. In your defense the size is listed I didn't read it completely. I would recommend this crate for an original gift!

My husband thought it was okay
My husband was not impressed with the opening of the crate as it is glued shut instead of nailed. It was cute and unique. The beer Stein is nice and heavy but you could barely read his name on it. I thought the engraving would have been larger that a quarter inch.

Cool... but not worth the price.
I got this as a Valentine’s Day gift and I had never of heard of Man Crate until I saw the package, but nevertheless it seemed like an awesome concept. My favorite part was opening crate with the crowbar and that was pretty much it. As I went through the Oktoberfest man crate, I was more and more disappointed. Just a bunch of inexpensive items put together for a price I don’t agree with. I was very let down, but I still thanked her for the sheer thought, but I know she knew it wasn’t a hit like she hoped it would be. Cool concept, but it didn’t do it for me.

Expired??
Ordered this crate for my friend's birthday, he loved it until he saw the expiration date on the pretzels was a month ago.. Then we started wondering how long the other perishables have been sitting in storage...
----------------------------------
MAN CRATES EDIT:Hey there Walter, so sorry to hear that your pretzels arrived past their expiration date! We do our best to track the expiration dates on every item we pack to ensure that none of the items you receive are expired, or near expiring, Looks like one pesky bag slipped past our quality control in the warehouse, and made its way to you. We would be happy to replace that bag for you free of charge, give us a call at 866-902-7260 or email us at: guys@mancrates.com and we'll make it right, thanks!

lack of quality control
I ordered this to be delivered on the 9th of February and be engraved with the name JESSE. Neither happen it arrived on the 7th of January and not engraved. This is the second consecutive order to be disappoining. Quality control is an issue and may have to forget any future orders. As I order birthday gifts alot if quality control continues being a problem, I will find another provider.

Disappointed
I ordered the crate for a dear friends 70th birthday. (not the first time I've gotten a Man Crate) The opening was great everyone was taking pictures of the big event. He was having the time of his life trying to open the crate. It took 3 guys and a lot of laughs to get it open. He loved everything in the box. I was very disappointed with the print size of the engraving. The pictures on the aid and the actual engraving was oh so different. the aid looks like his name would be 3/4 of an inch or so. But it was more like a 1/4 of an inch, very tinny print, almost hard to read. Real small, hard to read his name. It didn't look anything like the print on the mug in the aid. He loved it. I was very disappointed.
